Jün Cyber was created to help the underserved small and mid-sized business develop their cyber strategy, prepare for cyber audits and protect their business against cyber threats.

Jün Cyber is built on integrity and service and we hold those beliefs true as we service our clients like our Ohana, or family.   The Jün Cyber team treats all clients as they want to be treated.  We offer customized services that fit client’s specific cybersecurity needs.    Each client will have access to regular communications during engagements to avoid any unintended surprises.

Every Jün Cyber client will have the ability to prepare their business for necessary industry security audits with management consulting services; protect their businesses against cybersecurity attacks with as-a-service offerings and technologies; and enable their employees to become more proficient in the cybersecurity and other technology areas with relevant on-line training.   Jün Cyber’s mission is to help SMBs reduce their cybersecurity risk and increase their ability to grow.    The initial industry focus will be manufacturing, defense and legal sectors.

Our Team

Wilson Bautista, Jr

CEO and Founder 

Wilson Bautista is a retired military officer who is currently the founder and CEO of the consulting firm Jün Cyber, and the Executive Director of the Cyber Ohana Project, a Florida nonprofit corporation and registered 501(c)(3) organization. He provides expertise in the domains of InfoSec leadership, policy, architecture, compliance, and risk to his clients. He also has a Masters Degree in Information Systems Management from Boston University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

In the Marine Corps, Wilson led a Regimental level platoon of Marines in their deployment to Afghanistan.  Deployed to Sangin, Afghanistan, he was responsible for supporting the maintenance of technology connectivity for over 1000 military and defense contracting personnel on the front lines.

As a defense contractor for Headquarters Marine Corps, Wilson was responsible for preparing the Southeastern Marine Corps bases for their audit by the Defense Information Systems Agency. This included reviewing all physical security, Windows operating systems as well as, performing penetration testing of facilities and networks and vulnerability assessments.

In preparation for their ISO 27001 certification and to become compliant to GDPR, Wilson built a global manufacturing company’s operational readiness practices including Vulnerability Management, Secure Configuration Management, Threat Management, and Web Application Security for the Global Information Security Organization. He worked across multiple service providers and created comprehensive plans of action and milestones after several security control assessments.

Wilson was the virtual CISO for several businesses in the industries of lifesciences, academia, finance technology, defense industrial base, and data analytics where he developed and implemented a wide range of Cybersecurity and compliance related activities including building the Vulnerability Management program, SOC/SIEM practices, third-party security risk.

Wilson holds active certifications in the following areas: HIPAA Security; Computer Systems Validation for the Lifesciences; CISSPISACA CISMCISACRISCCGEITISO/IEC 27001 Senior Lead Implementer; Project Management Professional; TOGAF 9; CCSK, Computer System Validation-Life Science Industries.

 

Andrew Bautista

Information Security Analyst

Andrew is a seasoned Information Security Analyst and a dedicated Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, specializing in the dynamic field of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). His exceptional ability to align security strategies with business objectives ensures seamless integration and optimal performance.

In his role as an Information Security Analyst, Andrew has successfully guided numerous clients through the complexities of cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards. He is proficient in developing vital documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM). Additionally, Andrew’s expertise extends to system and network administration, where he has significantly strengthened the digital security of multiple organizations.

Andrew’s military experience is a fundamental aspect of his professional identity, fostering key skills such as clear communication, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail – all crucial in the realm of information security. His talent for demystifying complex IT concepts for non-technical stakeholders has been a key factor in achieving collaborative success.
